Our personal descriptions

This month the 6th graders are working with June, who is doing her teaching internship in our school.

They started a project called 'Let's become travel agents!'.
They are helping Natalie, a travel agent in London, to plan actitivies for a group of 6th grade students that is coming to Barcelona next July.

HOW EXCITING!

Here you have some of the self-introductions that they created for Natalie:

Peace Day

Last Friday, 30th January, we celebrated Peace Day with 4th graders.

We had a little discussion about the importance of having some time to reflect on the things we can improve to solve daily problems and arguments.

Students shared their opinions on the matter with the help of the following information:

We created our own Dove (a symbol of peace) with students' messages on its feathers:

New linguistic volunteers!

Last week we received new linguistic volunteers. They come from different parts of the USA and they did a brief power point presentation to tell students about their background and culture.

Here you can meet them and see some of the slides.

Welcome Stephanie, Baylee and Adam!!!

Stephanie is working with 4th graders and they are very excited!

Adam is going to help us at the workshop we do with 3rd and 4th graders:

Finally, Baylee is going to be with 6th graders:

Storytime!

Minorka, one of our linguistic volunteers, told a story to 3rd graders. You can see they were very happy and they listened carefully to the story.

Meet our linguistic volunteers!

Thanks to our PILE project (Explore and Enjoy), this year we are enjoying a very special cooperation: three linguistic volunteers! They are helping us to improve our oral skills and, of course, they also share their culture with us. Please, have a look at their presentations:
