Meet our linguistic volunteers!

Thanks to our PILE project (Explore and Enjoy), this year we are enjoying a very special cooperation: three linguistic volunteers! They are helping us to improve our oral skills and, of course, they also share their culture with us. Please, have a look at their presentations:

For example, the visited a volcano and 'La Fageda d'en Jordà'.

They became pirates and did a ginkana to find a secret treasure... in English!!!

Get to know our city!!!

During few weeks we have been working on our city, Barcelona, with 4th graders.

They have learned about the limits of the city, its different districts and famous monuments or places you can visit.

Last Friday we did an actual tour around the city and we could see, first hand, many of the things we had explained in class.

It was fun and very interesting!

You can see some pictures...

An English guest!

Last week Year 4 and Year 2 students enjoyed a very special visit: Mr. Stefan Bromley!

Mr. Bromley is a dad of two Lavinia students. He accepted our invitation and prepared two special sessions where students could discover interesting information about England and about our guest.

In this picture Stefan showed us his family:
But, where is England? And Catalonia?

Interesting information about England:
